He is a firm believer in fiscal responsibility, transparency, servant leadership and a responsive City government that leads, serves and is accountable to the people of Newport Beach. Tom’s motivation for running for City Council is to preserve our freedoms and promote the community values that make Newport Beach a great place to live, work, visit, raise a family, and allow others the ability to pursue the American Dream.
Tom developed a passion for business and entrepreneurship while attending college in Fullerton. Through hard work, perseverance, building relationships and a commitment to excellence, Tom built and led one of the most successful auto reconditioning companies in the country. By 2020, his organization employed a staff of over 800 employees who thrived under Tom’s servant leadership.
An active community leader, Tom dedicates his time, energy, and resources to community service and making Newport Beach a better place to live and grow as individuals and a community. He is involved in several clubs and organizations. He is also active in his church, where he served on the board of trustees. In addition to his volunteer service, Tom is a dedicated philanthropist. He regularly donates to organizations that help our youth and benefit our community including World Vision, America on Track, the Newport Beach Police Officers Association and Friends of Newport Beach Animal Shelter.
Tom’s wife, Eileen, is his best friend, the love of his life, and his business partner. They are celebrating 35 years of marriage in 2022. Tom and Eileen enjoy spending time with their family and volunteering as marriage counselors at their church.
